We provide long-term and short-term assisted living, as well as memory care for residents with varying stages of Alzheimer’s or dementia. We have a well-trained team of professionals dedicated to serving all the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents. Our goal is to provide a stimulating environment where residents get to know each other and our team by name.
We have deep roots in the Fort Worth community. Our parent company, Bethesda Senior Living, is committed to long-term care. While some companies view their facilities as profit-making investments that may be bought and sold when convenient, we are a small, not-for-profit community, meaning our investment is in our residents—now and in the future.
Assisted living becomes appropriate when an otherwise active senior begins having trouble getting proper nutrition, maintaining the household, performing personal care routines, or remembering to take medications. We are staffed 24 hours a day with medication aides, care partners, and a friendly support team. Together, we ensure our assisted living residents have the help they need when they need it. We provide our residents with maximum privacy and autonomy in an attentive and caring environment.
Nursing homes are not the catch-all solution they once were considered to be, primarily because most seniors do not want to be in one. Nursing homes are designed to provide patients with ongoing, intensive medical and nursing services. To do this, they must be both intrusive and pricey. For seniors whose health has deteriorated to the point where chronic medical intervention is regularly required, the cost of a nursing home begins to make sense. Our residents at Bethesda Gardens enjoy active, productive lives with just the right amount of support 24 hours a day. They can discover their independence, personal tastes, hobbies, and self-worth while getting the support they need when they need it.
Yes. Seniors in the beginning stages of dementia may be most comfortable in our assisted living community. Those with more advanced needs may find our memory care community a better option. Our memory care community provides the most supportive care and supervision, as well as specialized activities to engage our residents’ minds. We offer both private Studio Suites and One Bedroom apartments in a 24-hour secure environment. Our compassionate staff works with each resident and family to create a culture where residents can thrive while maintaining as much independence as possible.
Our Assisted Living Companion Suites offer unbeatable value, providing an affordable option for high-quality care and allowing isolated older adults to experience the health benefits of connection and community. Studies show that older adults who move from an isolated home environment to a community setting experience even greater health benefits from the daily social interaction versus adding medication management and nutrition provided by Home Care services. In particular, for seniors in the beginning stages of memory loss, studies show that social interaction supports maintaining cognitive function, language skills, and a healthy routine.
We offer a variety of resources and financial options to assist seniors and their families to afford the retirement lifestyle that meets their expectations. Our fees are easy to understand and never hidden. The apartment monthly fee includes: restaurant-style dining, laundry and maintenance, activities, wellness programs, and scheduled transportation. Most residents will pay an additional fee based on their level of care assessment. These fees cover the cost of additional support services they require, including: nursing oversight, medication management, bathing, dressing, and other personal care services.
It wouldn’t be home without your furry, finned or feathered friend. We encourage residents to bring their faithful companions, and we offer referrals for services such as dog walking.
