It’s always exciting to celebrate resident milestones. On July 28th, Laura Brown celebrated 10 years of living at Bethesda Gardens Fort Worth and you can BET our staff made sure to celebrate with her. Laura loves the casino, so we brought one to her to commemorate this exciting day and have a fun day of dice, cards and fellowship to honor a special resident and her tenure at our community. Laura and our other residents got to try their best hand at Black Jack and other casino style games. Chef Debbie Morton made sure our snacks matched the theme, serving things like “chicken roulette roll ups.” Activities Director Scott Miller ensured our activity room was transformed into a casino and that Laura’s friends and family were able to join in the celebration. A special thank you to her daughter Darlene Watson, nephew Don Parham and wife Ruth Ann and special family friend Charla Wise for joining us on this joyous occasion.
At Bethesda Gardens, we embrace milestones with our residents. It may a birthday, anniversary or other special event, but whatever the occasion, we take every opportunity to celebrate alongside our residents.
